1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using HaulLedger ("the App," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid (Pro) subscribers.

2. Description of Service

HaulLedger is a financial tracking application designed for independent (1099) dump truck drivers. The App allows you to:

• Log revenue tickets and delivery records
• Track business expenses
• Generate PDF reports (Pro feature)
• Verify invoices against logged tickets (Pro feature)
• Sync data to the cloud via a secure account

HaulLedger is not a tax preparation service and does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a licensed tax professional for filing your taxes.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others. You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

4. Free and Pro Plans

HaulLedger offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan at $9.99/month. The Pro plan is billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing to Pro, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.

• You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through Stripe's billing portal.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not receive a prorated refund for unused days.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email.

5. Your Data

You own all data you enter into HaulLedger (tickets, expenses, amounts, notes). We do not sell your data. We store your data on Supabase, a secure cloud database service, solely to provide the App's features. You can export or delete your data at any time from the Settings screen.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App
• Submit false or misleading financial records
• Share, resell, or transfer your account to another person

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

HaulLedger is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost. We strongly recommend using the Export Data feature regularly as a backup.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HaulLedger and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any financial losses, missed tax deductions, or data loss.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Upon termination, your cloud-stored data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
